Seeking a Senior Engineer to join one of our Lending Experience teams, who are building a new foundational domain part of our event driven architecture and integrations to our modern lending platform.
In this role you will:
Learn our business domain and have your say in how we provide a great customer experience
Grow your skills across development, testing, and cloud technologies by learning best practices from our amazing pool of engineers across the bank
Collaborate within your agile team and with our sibling teams and stakeholders to design, build, and ensure the quality of new features and services in .NET
Support our production API services, helping to diagnose and resolve issues
Develop and maintain robust automated tests (e.g., unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure our services are reliable and performant
You will be keen to adopt new ways of working with a constant motivation to improve
Mentor fellow engineers on engineering principles and lead by example

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:
Senior-level capability in building production grade applications with the .NET ecosystem and can operate autonomously
Strong ownership mindset – you care about what you build and maintain
Strong understanding of building robust API interfaces and evolving them to accommodate iterative development
Technically versatile and comfortable with dependency upgrades and breaking changes, integration patterns, and modern cloud tooling
Someone who looks for opportunities to lift the engineering bar, mentor others, and continuously improve the codebase
Excellent documentation skills and ability to effectively communicate using online collaboration tools
Nice to have:
Experience with building and testing event-driven systems (e.g., using Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience with building GraphQL services with a federated architecture (e.g., using Apollo)
Experience with on-call support for Production services
