Role and Responsibilities
• Understanding of business requirements of the user stories
• Interacting with BAs, QAs and LSA to clarify business/design questions
• Creating design documents and making sure the team is following the design principles
• Doing code reviews for team members and making sure the code quality is high
• Writing Pega unit test cases and suites using Pega framework
• Implementation and unit testing of the user stories
• Making sure team is following best practices and maintaining good guardrail score
• Collaborating with QAs and BAs to get the story acceptance
• Participating in scrum ceremonies and providing feedback.
• Making sure the security aspects of the application is taken care as part of development.
Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years in Pega Development using 8.x/Pega 24.x
• Certified CSSA
• Experience on Integrations – JMS, Rest API
• Experience in Performance analysis using PAL
• Experience in Pega UI, File Import, Screen Flows, Case Management, Activities, Report Definitions and Correspondence
• Experience in Agents, Connect Sql
• Experience in writing Pega unit test cases
• Experience in using JAVA, JS, HTML and CSS concepts
• Experience in PEGA UI/UX concepts
• Experience in performance tuning of the application.
