Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Work on new and existing ETL applications and AWS technologies.
Strong analytical skill and knowledge on statistical data analytics.
Demonstrates hands-on coding leadership through productivity and high quality of outputs as measured by low defect rates.
Provide technical leadership ability to create enhancements to batch applications and infrastructure.
Act as mentor in the development of junior developers.
Ability to mentor and coordinates the task with our offshore team
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Technical skills:
Strong technical knowledge in ETL tolls like Pentaho Data Integration, Talend, etc. (3+ years)
Cloud Service: Amazaon web services
Database: Aurora
Programming Language: Python, Java Scripts, SQL
Version Control: Github
Other tools: Postman, JIRA, Pentaho Report Designer
Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle, including demonstrated leadership in adapting methods to assigned projects.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods.
Expertise in structured application analysis, design and database practices.
Expert understanding of various technologies including, web architecture and database development and application servers.
Demonstrated leadership in troubleshooting and maintaining complex applications.
Established track record of successful system and project implementations.
Effectively translated complex customer requirements, recommended system solutions, and helped formulate detailed specifications.
Effectively worked as part of distributed teams.
Ability to assess customer requirements and develop project deliverables to support solutions.
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science with 4+ years of experience.
