Torinit is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the team as a Back-End Developer (PHP - Laravel) to help us to continue to develop our industry leading experience marketing application. This individual will be joining a dynamic team of energetic and intelligent individuals focused on delivering innovative solutions for a wide range of exciting customers from a multitude of industries. Roles and responsibilities
• Develop, record, and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal & premium service platforms.
• Design and architect new features and solve technical challenges to deliver robust and scalable platforms
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications using PHP and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
• Perform unit and integration level testing of developed code.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales/Account, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment, prioritization, and delivery of client satisfaction.
Preferred Candidate Profile-
• 6+ years of hands-on full-stack development in PHP
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with Laravel framework
• Extensive experience of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework
• Exposure to other frameworks i.e CakePHP, Codeignator
• Experience in Software testing framework (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
• MySQL profiling and query optimization
• Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, CloudFront, etc)
• Good to have knowledge on Elasticsearch - not mandatory.
• Familiar with common development frameworks / tools (eg. Jenkins, maven, Git, etc)
• Ability to debug, trace back on issues, discover the root cause, and offer potential solutions
• Strong experience working in a fast paced environment
• Always up for a challenge, picking up new things, not afraid to ask questions, and
continuously learning.
