This important science, technology, and innovation center will support a range of technology and drug development activities that will help us usher in the next wave of innovation. Position Summary The Enterprise Salesforce (ES) Dev Ops Engineer manages the operation and lifecycle of foundational services utilized by product development teams. The primary focus is on centralized Source Control and Backup Services but can extend to other technologies in the Salesforce ecosystem utilized by BMS solutions. Works closely with the Enterprise Salesforce Delivery Manager, Engineering Manager, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Quality Assurance to manage licensing of foundational services and plan, test and execute upgrades of foundational services. Desired Candidate Characteristics: • Have a strong commitment to a career in technology with a passion for healthcare • Ability to understand the needs of the business and commitment to deliver the best user experience and adoption • Able to collaborate across multiple teams • Demonstrated leadership experience • Excellent communication skills • Innovative and inquisitive nature to ask questions, offer bold ideas and challenge the status quo • Agility to learn new tools and processes Key Responsibilities • Support and develop solutions that enable our product teams to rapidly build and deploy. • Assist with performance evaluation of Salesforce instances and processes • Collaborate with product teams working on solutions to increase the efficiency of the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines. • Manage all aspects of foundational CI/CD component life-cycle, licensing and evolution • Troubleshoot and fix production issues. • Assist with production releases. Qualifications & Experience • 5-7 years of experience in DevOps or CI/CD Engineer • 4-6 years direct experience building and maintaining CI/CD tooling such as Flosum, Capado, Jenkins/BitBucket Pipelines/Git hub Actions, ANT, Force.com Change Sets, Data Migration and associated tools. • Experience upgrading Source Control systems and processes in GxP environment requiring change controls, test scripts, etc. • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a distributed version control environment (Git / Subversion (SVN)) • Demonstrable experience using branch management strategies • Advanced knowledge in web-based release processes • 3-5 years of demonstrable experience with a scripting or Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language • Advanced knowledge and practice of Agile principles as they relate to Scrum, Sprint planning, Project management, and Release • 4-6 years production experience configuring and standing up Salesforce Cloud & AWS instances • Direct experience in creating and extending Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) environments • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience • Requires thorough knowledge of the principles and concepts of a discipline and developed knowledge of other related disciplines, typically gained through a university degree and 5-7 years of experience. • Persuades and negotiates effectively with stakeholders in being able to coordinate actions for achieving the desired outcome. • Articulates and presents complex information clearly and concisely across all levels. Demonstrates abilities and knowledge in being able to explain and present complex topics clearly. • Participates in decision making and brings experiences and ideas to achieve team objectives. • Looks to improve processes, structures, and knowledge within the team. Leads in analyzing current states, delivers strong recommendations, and able to execute to bring moderately complex solutions to completion. • Applies understanding of internal/external challenges to maintain focus in accomplishing operational goals. • Evaluates complex issues through analytical thinking and previous experience to consider short and long-term implications and interdependencies and guides others when enough analysis has been completed in giving recommendations/solutions. #HYDIT #LI-Hybrid
