Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Internal Tools, you will join a team responsible for developing and
maintaining web-based software systems and services. This team strives to create scalable, and
optimized solutions to provide our users with safe and efficient access to our online services.
Key Responsibilities
• Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Coordinate and communicate with Designers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
• Participate in daily planning activities such as Scrum meetings.
• Write software that consumes data from a RESTful API.
• Work individually and cooperatively with a team.
• Document internal and external source code.
• Implement and utilize testing solutions.
• Participate in internal management meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 + years’ experience in Software Development or a related technology field, web focused
development preferred.
• Experience working with the following technologies:
o Modern Front End Web development & functional programming paradigms
o React, Redux, and related frameworks
o ES2018+ (ES+) JavaScript syntax or TypeScript
o Common tools like webpack, npm, nvm
o Testing frameworks (e.g. Jest)
o Revision control software (e.g. Git/Github)
o Agile tools (e.g. Jira)
• Creative, motivated, resourceful, and passionate
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skill
