As a Software Engineer within the Global Data Science R&D team at Manhattan Associates, you will …
• Provide strong systems development skills, a creative analytical mindset
• Research, innovate, and develop Manhattan Associates’ cloud-native microservices-based Machine Learning platform. This is a system of ours that autonomously builds, deploys, monitors, and maintains models for our business applications deployed for our customers around the world
• Work with Data Scientists to research and transform ML use case prototypes into production deployable software
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
• Optimize and evolve existing Manhattan frameworks, while researching, prototyping
• Ensure high quality software deliverables by leveraging solid methodologies and tooling best practices
• Stay current with state-of-the-art techniques and technologies in the field
Primary Qualifications
• Bachelors/Masters in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Hands on experience with Django, Flask, Falcon or other Python frameworks
• Solid experience in working with packages like NumPy, Pandas
• Solid experience working with SQL and relational data bases (MySQL or Oracle or SQL Server)
• Working knowledge with Linux or Unix operating systems
• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work and communicate effectively across the global organization
