SSE QA provides the team with ongoing and meaningful feedback on performance and development - ensuring positive acknowledgment of all achievements, both big and small.
Responsibilities
• QA engineers should convert an end-to-end use case into test cases that should be used to do manual testing.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases followed by planning, coordinating, and executing the testing activities.
• Support the development of deliverables by defining, performing, and documenting the product validation for new and modified features for mobile and web applications.
• Record and track bugs thoroughly identified during manual and automated testing.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and the number of open defects identified during both manual and automated testing.
• Design and develop automated scripts using popular frameworks and tools.
• Maintain a testing scripts library that can be reused for multiple projects/products.
• Update all the stakeholders regularly on all QA activities, including progress on specific testing milestones, defects, and bug patterns for all the projects involved.
• Regularly perform security testing for mobile and web platforms to ensure there are no vulnerabilities.
• Regularly conduct performance testing of all the technical aspects of mobile and web applications.
Requirements
• Experience: 4+years
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving & root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.
• You have a BS in Computer Science or another technical major with a minimum of 7 years of software QA experience.
• Accountability to accomplish Sprint goals and objectives.
• Understand business/finance needs, and have the ability to apply business value to test efforts.
• Provide regular updates on sprint-based test plans and automation test runs.
• Knowledge and experience with QA tools and networking tools.
• Experience translating business and functional requirements to create appropriate test documentation.
• Demonstrable ability to promote best practices in quality areas, including testability and instrumentation;
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance;
• 2+ years of experience writing or executing automated test cases;
• Deep understanding of quality assurance techniques, frameworks and methodologies;
• Passion for software quality and for advancing testing as an engineering discipline.
• BTech or relevant educational field required
