This team is part of the Platform IT Division at Akamai We process and distribute terabytes of data to assist in varied internal and external applications The team consists of highcaliber business systems analysts project managers and software engineers Partner with the best As the Senior Software Engineer you will work in a global environment and provide significant individual contribution to the enterprise application integration efforts You will own the responsibilities of module development end to end You will come up with innovative solutions for business problems and will implement them successfully As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for Creating highly scalable and selfservice driven data engineering and data analytics platform for large volume system Designing and development of applications across various programming environments Such as Big Data Distributed system and API integrations etc Contributing in each phase of enabling data analytics i e data collection processing governance and analytics of the data Working ability in multiple programming languages such as Python SQL Scripting etc Do what you love To be successful in this role you will Have MTech ME BTech BE in Computer Science or related field Have Data modeling SQL and PL SQL Experience Have experience in deployment of pipelines in containerized environment such as Dockers Kubernetes Be Proficient experience in any OOP language like JAVA or Python Have hands on experience with either Flink Spark Kafka Have experience in Orchestrating end to end workflows using Airflow
