Senior Backend Engineer
Nuage has partnered with an innovative software company delivering advanced solutions for optimal digital performance. As they continue to expand, they seek a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in building scalable, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java (Spring Boot) backend services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Build and deploy applications using AWS, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Design and maintain RESTful APIs (OpenAPI), ensuring seamless integrations.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and continuous delivery.
Establish best practices for distributed systems architecture and microservices.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive high-quality development standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot) as the primary stack.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design (OpenAPI), microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience deploying applications on AWS, with hands-on skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (or similar IaC tools).
Proficiency in optimising application performance for scalability and efficiency.
Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Passion for adopting emerging cloud technologies and engineering best practices.
