As a Software Engineer team member, you will:
• Writes new software, makes modifications to existing software, or integrates software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications provided by others
• Creates and executes unit testing and integration testing ensuring module meets requirements
• Executes on provided design
• May provide technical support to operations or other development teams
• Creates and maintains all required technical documentation / manual related to assigned components to ensure supportability.
• Perform product design. system analysis, and Implement necessary software changes and enhancements
• Contribute to the security, scalability, and performance of our systems.
• Collaborate with the teams Software Engineers and Analysts, as well as across teams, to establish requirements and develop solutions.
• ASSIST Analysis In researching reopened issues, verifying bugs, and testing changes for release
• Document bus fixes, and enhancements in the applicable tracking systems.
• Work both independently, and as part of a development team, on various projects or varying size and scope concurrently.
• This position requires an individual who can successfully work in a dynamic environment where priorities change based on evolving business needs. Deadline driven project assignments require a motivated professional with excellent adaptability and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
3+ years or professional development experience
Application Front-end candidates: with Angular front-end skills (prefer modern Angular to AngularJS)
Desired Experience
Angular or AngularJS
Integrations experience (REST APIs)
SQL or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, ElasticSearch and standard microservice patterns are a plus
