Key Responsibilities
● Collaborate with the product, business, design and engineering functions to be on top of your team’s deliverables & milestones.
● Drive design code reviews
● Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
● Develop & Design Backend Services for Million User Concurrency.
● Mentor Team members to Achieve the quality and delivery Goals.
● Develop CI/CD framework, own the Deployment and Service guarantee.
Person Specifications
● 6-8 years of software development experience with demonstrated ability to design, build, and deliver complex, successful engineering systems or products efficiently and with high quality in the Web Services and streaming Video Domain
● Experience working on encoders/decoders for H.264/H.265/VP8/VP+ and/Or FFMPEG and Gstreamers libraries.
● Expertise with Programming Languages Go, C/C++ .
● Good understanding of Video Containers and Packaging frameworks like CMAF, MPEG - 4, TS and others.
● Experience with streaming Protocols HLS, DASH
● Good To have Experience with MCU's and selective forwarding.
● Experience with Video Streaming Security would be an added advantage.
● Establishing and maintaining unit, integration and system test mechanisms in staging, pre-production and production environment
