The focus of the role
This role as Java/Microservices Senior Specialist is aligned with the vision to build the Salesforce team to support the retail prospect to order value chain at Telstra to develop a core competency around strategic salesforce capability for Telstra and bringing the intellectual property internal to Telstra.
Based in Bangalore, this role is key to the success of the Customer Order Management & Sales function at Telstra and will be responsible and accountable for the following:
• Design/Build applications (preferably in Telecom Domain) using Java/Spring boot.
• Design technical architecture solutions that span multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Analytics, Social, Communities) and include integration and authentication across systems
• Manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale
• Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.
• Develop Microservice architecture and microservices, Spring boot applications
• Problem solving and analysis to support enterprise high availability Salesforce applications.
• Monitor process of software configuration/development/testing to assure quality deliverable.
• Provide training and educate other team members around core capabilities and helps them deliver high quality solutions and deliverables/documentation.
About you (Core Capabilities / Technical Skills)
Essential
• Degree level IT qualifications in Software or Systems Engineering.
• 8-15 years' hands on experience in developing spring boot applications, in-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, AWS (Lamda Functions, SQS, Kinesis, IAM Roles and Policy)
• Velocity product knowledge is an added benefit.
Demonstrated experience in the following:
• Deep understanding and experience in developing Salesforce and building on force.com.
• A good understanding of the architectural principals of web-based platforms including SaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, and application servers.
• Understanding of all cloud offerings in the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures.
• A good understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL environments and an understanding of integration considerations such as process orchestration, customer data integration and master data management.
• Extensive experience in developing & configuration SFDC Apex classes, Visualforce pages, workflows, Aura Components and LWC
• Knowledge of XML, JSON and other data interchange formats is desirable.
• Knowledge of Javascript , HTML5 , JQuery and other web technologies is desirable
• Strong development (coding), debugging, tuning skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
