In this role, you will:
Principal responsibilities -
This role contributes in the development of the component/system(s) owned by a single delivery line and is primarily accountable for the release management and run activities associated with the delivery of the products and services, the development and operational lifecycles.
• Primary accountability is to develop the most appropriate IT solutions in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement with responsibility to write the unit & integration tests performed by Test Engineers
• End to end accountable for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate IT solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey
• Responsible for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements
• Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the pod activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly
• Accountable for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the pod
• Accountable for the performance of the pod activities and maintaining performance in line with benchmark objectives (inc productivity, quality and effectiveness measures)

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Must have -
• Avaloq Release Management experience
• Worked in a Release Manager capacity before with experience in managing Production releases and hotfixes
• Good work experience in Unix environments and Oracle DBs
• Experience in working with Agile methodology
• Experience with DevOps tooling (Ansible, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.)
• Control-M (or any other scheduling tool) experience
• Working knowledge of any scripting language (Python, shell script, etc.)
• Experience in AWS, Kubernetes, container orchestration preferred
• Good communication skills
