Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Azure and Microservices who can contribute to critical application and product development projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of scalable and high-throughput end-user applications. Your proficiency in Java, Azure, Microservices and problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of back-end components for the legacy modernization program.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical strategies for modernizing legacy systems.
• Ensure software meets organisational standards for quality, scalability, security, and performance
• Develop, test, implement, and maintain software solutions using Java and Microsoft Azure
• Continuously evaluate existing applications and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation
• Develop APIs and integrate with external systems, databases, and microservices.
• Ensure smooth and efficient data flow between new and legacy components.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Java within production projects.
• Having Laravel experience will be good along with Java skills
• Good knowledge in Spring Boot, Core, Data, etc.
• Experience building Java REST API with Spring Boot
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Ability to work in a multi-functional environment without boundaries for the benefit of the project and team
• Ability to decompose larger problems into work as self-contained, minimally dependent tasks
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment and to adapt to changing circumstances
• Proven ability to improve both technical knowledge and process; ability to learn and apply skills to new technology
