Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Lead - Mobile Banking
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Lead with 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3+ years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Web Application Testing, Test Planning, and Defect Management.
Key Responsibilities
• Create comprehensive Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Scenarios for Web Applications.
• Develop and document high-level test conditions based on business scenarios.
The ideal candidate should also possess strong project coordination skills and be capable of leading a team of 6-8 members. Candidates must have ISTQB Foundation Level certification or be willing to clear it within three months of joining.
Team Leadership & Coordination
• Lead and manage a team of 6-8 software quality assurance engineers.
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external developers to ensure quality delivery.
Test Execution & Defect Management
• Execute test cases and oversee Defect Management.
• Monitor and coordinate test execution to meet project timelines.
• Prepare Defect Analysis Reports and escalate critical issues when necessary.
Project Coordination & Reporting
• Provide effort estimation for testing projects.
• Prepare and present Status Reports, MIS Reports, and Test Closure Reports.
• Track and update daily activities in the Daily Status Report.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead with a total of 5+ years in software testing.
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Testing and Defect Management.
• Strong knowledge of Test Planning, Strategy, and Execution.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Experience in effort estimation and project coordination.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and external developers.
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (must be cleared within 3 months of joining if not already obtained).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Automation Testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
