Key Responsibilities:
Technical Documentation:
• Create and refine high-quality technical content that includes user guides, release notes, FAQs, and API documentation.
• Simplify complex concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
Team Leadership:
• Guide and mentor, the documentation team to achieve excellence in deliverables.
• Conduct reviews, set priorities, and foster best practices for consistent team performance.
Process Optimization:
• Audit and enhance documentation workflows for improved efficiency and alignment with product releases.
• Drive initiatives to standardize templates and streamline processes for content quality.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to gather information and stay updated on product developments.
• Ensure content meets the specific needs of end users through a user-centric approach.
Requirements Required skills and experience:
Technical Writing Expertise:· Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive documentation including user guides, release notes, API documentation, and FAQs for complex enterprise software systems, with an emphasis on clarity and accuracy.
Technical Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of distributed systems, databases, and query languages such as SQL. Familiarity with programming concepts (e.g., Python, Java) and their application in technical documentation.
Proficiency in Linux environments for command-line operations and system navigation.
Tools: Ability to Utilize tools like Git, Antora, or AsciiDoc for version-controlled, structured documentation.
Preferred:5 to 8 years experience authoring technical documentation, preferably for software developers.
Knowledge of database and enterprise software terminology.
