Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. • 4 to 8 years of experience in doing automation testing using Labview, Teststand. • Experience in automation testing of embedded software products. • Experience in designing test framework using Labview, Teststand and implementing it. • Experience in executing the automation test suites created using the automation test tools and analyzing the results. • Design and develop the Test Automation Hardware System using NI Hardware (CompactRIO, NI PXI Controllers, C Series Modules, Modular Instrument) and Programmable Power Supply. • Experience in communication protocols – Modbus, TCP, UDP, RS232, RS485, CAN. • Experience in preparing product verification/validation test plans. • Experience in preparing test scenarios, test cases. • Ability to read and interpret software architecture and design diagrams. • Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply the knowledge to solve practical problems. • Ability to mentor and coach the others on the technical aspects. • Experience in doing defect management. • Strong understanding of software product development life cycle. • Strong understanding of software testing life cycle. • Experience in using defect management tools.
