Role: Software Solution Architect – IoT & Cloud

What part will you play?
Define sustainable, extensible, and maintainable software architecture for IoT enabled Software as a Service (SaaS) applications hosted in AWS and Azure Cloud.
Derive the architecturally significant requirements, including quality attributes (NFRs), from the
product, customer, business requirements, and drive the software architecture for the appropriate decomposition level such as system, sub-system, etc.
Analyze and prepare technical proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFP) received from customer organizations.
Define architecture and design principles and guidelines for the products and solutions and support the teams for implementation and testing within the defined framework.
Provide consultancy to multiple product and solution teams and recommend best practices and
improvements.
Evaluate different concepts with respect to technological and commercial aspects and take make or buy decisions.
Create solution building blocks, reference architectures considering the industry best practices and the business requirements.
Establish and drive the architectural governance for SaaS applications in the assigned area of
responsibility.

B.E/ B. Tech/ MCA/ M.E/ M. Tech/MSc Computer Science
Knowledge and Experience:
15 - 20 years’ experience in software development, design, and architecture with minimum 5 years’ experience in architecting of medium to large scale SaaS applications/solutions
Proficiency in systematic architecture and design (e.g.: architecture and design patterns, elicitation of non-functional requirements)
Expert in the cloud technologies and cloud managed services – AWS & Azure
Advanced experience in architecting with microservices, containerization, and reusability
Prior experience in design & architecture of IoT solutions
Ability to understand of end-user and business needs and translate these needs into solutions.
Expertise in tradeoff analysis, recommending approaches, and defining guidelines.
Working experience with Agile/Lean projects and DevOps tools
Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with various stakeholders.
Strategic and innovation orientation with high ownership
