Job Description
Looking for experienced and motivated PaaS Architect profiles who possess:
• A unique blend of technical depth and functional knowledge related to PaaS and Kubernetes Platforms
• Experience in implementing Public cloud Infra architectures - both IaaS and PaaS Services
• Strong experience in Design, build, upgrade and management of leading PaaS or Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift/PCF/Tanzu/Rancher etc.) in On-Premise and Public Cloud Deployment Models (AWS, Azure etc.)
• Technical experience in design, build and management of Cloud Native PaaS Services like Web Apps, API Gateways, Event Hub, Serverless etc.
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation and management, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane etc., Configuration Management
• Experience in deployment and maintenance of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Github, Jira, Confluence, Maven, Bamboo, Neuvector, JFrog etc.
• Knowledge / Experience in Reliability engineering, chaos engineering, Agile etc.
• Strong communication, networking & interpersonal skills
• Experience of responding to the RFPs and presenting solutions to the customer.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Execute RFPs for Global clients to help them architect, engineer, upgrade and modernize platforms leveraging Next-gen technologies
• Propose Architectures leveraging Docker, Containers, PaaS based technologies
• End-to-end solutioning for PaaS/Kubernetes/DevOps platforms Design, Build and management
• Sizing and Effort estimation for platform engineering, modernization and operations
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the architect community
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
Basic Qualifications
• MCA/B.Tech/BE/M.Tech from recognized University/Institution
• Significant design/architecture/implementation/management experience (8+ years) with Cloud native and enterprise Kubernetes or PaaS and DevOps platforms
• History of successful technical architecture and management engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
• Public cloud Architect Certification – Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
• Certification in Kubernetes or any of the PaaS Platforms (OpenShift/ICP/Pivotal/any other)
Desirable
• Knowledge on migration or modernization to Public clouds will be added advantage
• Basic Knowledge of cloud native applications
