Sales
Our Sales team is the largest revenue-generation department at United. They work closely with travel agencies, United travel departments, and corporate clients.
Job overview and responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced designer and content strategist to join the United for Business Marketing team. The Marketing Design Lead will work closely with marketers to deliver a content and design strategy that aligns with their business and marketing objectives. This role will be responsible for trend spotting, ideation, creative development, and execution of relevant marketing content. The role will be responsible for managing a team of designers. They should be highly collaborative and excellent at partnering internally with our marketers, other writers, designers, and digital experts, as well as with external agencies and vendors, to produce high-quality content.
• Oversee the United for Business Marketing shared services design team at IKC, including day to day management, prioritization, and personnel activities.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to deliver on a content and design strategy and calendar aligned to the customer’s journey and built on industry and internal trends, sales needs, custom research, competitive insight, and content performance best practices.
• Track the performance of the content assets you’ve developed in collaboration with colleagues in operations and digital roles, using data to not only optimize individual assets but to continuously improve the team’s work and achieve our annual KPIs.
• Conduct concepting exercises to bring creative ideas to life and then project manage them through delivery. Make sure that all projects reflect the United and United for Business voice, tone, style and brand positioning.
• Coordinate with external media and creative agencies to ensure thorough and thoughtful creation and execution of design projects.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
• Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media Arts, Creative/Design or similar
• 4+ years of relevant design experience
• 2+ years of leading people
• Creative design programs (Adobe Suite preferred)
• Project management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• People leadership skills
Preferred
• Master’s degree
• 2+ years of marketing and/or sales experience
• Experience working with creative agencies
