IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate-Real Estate to join our Corporate Real Estate & Services team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As a Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in managing the bank's real estate portfolio and ensuring efficient and cost-effective utilization of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the bank's real estate portfolio, including properties owned and leased, across multiple locations
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the utilization of bank's properties and reduce costs
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential properties for acquisition or lease
- Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with landlords and vendors
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of bank's properties, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their real estate needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Monitor and track real estate expenses and prepare reports for senior management
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in real estate management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and market trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven track record of managing multiple properties and delivering cost savings
- Proficient in MS Office and real estate management software
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel as needed
