SQL Database Administrator, Senior in Hyderabad Office Job Summary: We are looking for a SQL Server Database DevOps Engineer to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud. The successful candidate will have deep database knowledge, a DevOps background, very strong problem-solving skills, and project management skills. Experience with other database management systems such as DB2 or Oracle is useful but not required. Cloud Experience is strongly preferred but not required. Preferred Qualification: We are looking for a SQL Server Database DevOps Engineer to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud. Basic Qualifications: Understanding of SQL Server and Microsoft Windows. This includes backups, recovery, and tuning. Programming/Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, or other scripting languages. T-SQL skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to learn new technology quickly. Comfortable working in a team environment. Ability to follow instructions. Project management skills. Essential Duties: PowerShell and T-SQL programming and Execution SQL Server Database Administration and Performance-Tuning Participation in DevOps related processes Windows O.S. management and Tuning Backup and Recaovery tasks Capacity planning Any hands-on/experience with AWS services is an added advantage. Any hands-on/experience with Azure services is an added advantage
