We are looking for a versatile AI/ML leader to provide technical leadership and research directions to charters such as Content Moderation AI, Anti-abuse AI, Job recommendation and Search relevance. These teams are developing state of the art natural language processing, computer vision and graph machine learning algorithms to improve the product experience for 774+ million members across 200+ countries. The role is an exciting combination of machine learning engineering and research, focussed on bringing in product impact. You will be solving some of the pressing industry problems such as hate speech detection, misinformation detection, fraud prevention, multi-modal and contextual understanding of content adhering to fairness and equity principles.

Mentor the teams to develop next-gen NLP, multimedia and multi-modal algorithms such as text classification, object detection, topic modeling, sentiment analysis, etc. to understand textual content on LinkedIn.
Develop cross-lingual NLP models to transfer knowledge across different input languages.
Build multi-task, multi-modal deep learning models that can handle heterogeneous input data such as text, images and videos
Provide research directions to ML engineers in leveraging/developing advanced machine learning techniques for critical business problems
Support in evolving AI strategy and roadmap to solve hard problems such as contextual classification of content, misinformation and deep-fake detection
Nurture and strengthen collaborations with R&D teams in other geos (US, Dublin) and functionalities outside AI like Product, Engineering, Data Science and Legal.
Represent LinkedIn in academic and industry forums by showcasing our innovation, data products, and scientific expertise in bringing game-changing data products to market
