You are invited to join our team at the National Treatment Centre - Highland (NTC) as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse/ODP in the Ophthalmology Perioperative Theatre Team. In this role, you will be a vital member of the dedicated Ophthalmology team, responsible for scrubbing for various Ophthalmology specialties, ensuring high-quality care delivery, and supporting the service in achieving best practice standards. Leveraging your minimum of 3 years of scrub experience as a Band 5, your skills will significantly contribute to upholding the utmost care standards for our patients.
Apart from your scrubbing responsibilities, you will also provide support to senior team members and step in for them when needed, guaranteeing the seamless operation of the theatre team. The National Treatment Centre - Highland (NTC-H) is a state-of-the-art facility catering to Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic patients. Situated within the University Campus of the City, the Centre features 5 theatres, a 24-bedded ward, and a dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department. With 2.6 specialized Ophthalmology theatres, we are fully equipped to deliver top-notch patient care and services.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of scrub experience as a Band 5 in Ophthalmology.
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding high care standards and adhering to best practices.
- Ability to provide team support and deputize in the absence of senior members.
- Ophthalmology experience is a prerequisite for success in this role.
