About the role
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, our Senior Strategy Analyst will contribute to the formulation and delivery of long-term strategy, annual planning and performance reporting, while supporting strategic reviews and key investor materials. Working closely with Elders’ Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure strategic priorities and initiatives are aligned with financial and growth objectives.
Responsibilities
As the Senior Strategy Analyst, you will:
Support the development of Elders’ strategy and annual operating plan
Prepare strategy documents, board presentations, and market analysis reports
Conduct deep-dive reviews of business units, acquisitions, and market opportunities
Deliver customer insights through survey programs and performance metrics (e.g. NPS)
Analyse trends across agriculture and retail to inform CEO and marketing communications
Collaborate with Finance to prepare investor presentations and updates
About you
To be successful, you have:
Previous experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or investment banking
Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or related field
Strong financial modelling, research, and analytical skills
Background or familiarity of the Australian agriculture and/or retail industry (highly valued)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to distil complex information clearly, to audiences at all levels of the organisation
Collaborative and self-motivated approach, with the ability to independently drive pieces of work
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and the ability to bring cross-functional teams together
