Location: Altona North | Full-Time, PM Shift
Team Global Express is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at our Altona North Depot.
This role is responsible for managing teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring safe, efficient operations across the branch. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, meeting KPIs, and supporting a strong team culture.
What you’ll be doing
Leading and supervising operational teams across the site
Planning and allocating labour and equipment to meet daily demands
Monitoring performance, productivity and labour costs
Managing attendance, leave and day-to-day team issues
Supporting customer outcomes by ensuring freight is handled safely and delivered on time
Working closely with drivers, contractors and internal teams
Identifying and improving processes to increase efficiency
Ensuring compliance with safety, transport and legislative requirements
Supporting training, onboarding and performance management
What you’ll bring
Experience in transport, logistics or a fast-paced operational environment
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
Good communication and people management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure
Basic computer skills and experience using operational systems
