Senior Supply Chain Manager: Skills & Capabilities Technical Understanding  Knowledge/experience with the manufacturing processes necessary for us: o Aluminum die casting o Aluminum extrusion o Plastic injection molding o Sheet metal processing  Able to identify potential manufacturing processes and suppliers based on sketches/ideas  Understanding of the required capabilities of an end product Commercial Understanding  Familiar with local commercial practices: o Delivery and payment terms o Discount structures o Profit margins o Negotiation skills Networking Skills with Knowledge of Local Cultural Practices  Familiar with local industrial infrastructures  Familiar with local business practices  Familiar with local societal customs  Has an existing network of relevant suppliers Regulatory Understanding  Knowledge of REACH and RoHS requirements  Knowledge of EU Supply Chain Act requirements  Relevant knowledge of standards Structured Working Method  Goal-oriented preparation  Goal-oriented approach  Reliable documentation  Regular exchange of information with us In the first phase, one of the client basic basic products may be imported to India and assembled there. It would be good if the candidate therefore had an affinity for ERP systems and was willing and open to supervising and, if necessary, carrying out this part of the work.
