Roles and Responsibilities
He shall be administrating all servers and major applications including but not limited to Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Proxy Server, Virtualisation, PACs Server and Desktop backup/recovery, antivirus solution. He shall be responsible for administration of all the severs of ILBS and server related activities as per the Institute requirement which includes installation of software (operating systems, database, applications and related clustering), changes in server configuration, server performance monitoring, patch updating in the operating system, firmware and other applications, data security, taking and managing backup and restoration of partial/full data (including tally, HIS, PACS and other softwares), verification of data integrity and managing data repository. Responsible for managing , domain, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, user, groups & quota management, Intranet server, medical equipment integration, email, anti-virus management. He shall be responsible for testing and deployment of any new software on servers. Maintain process documentation and daily logs, alerts, alarms of servers, database, etc.
