Senior Systems & Software Development Engineer
Location: Coventry | Hybrid/Flexible Working
Salary: £48-52k
Copello are working with a global defence leader who are seeking a skilled Senior Systems & Software Development Engineer to join their growing team, supporting the development of advanced submarine technology. You will be responsible for refining system requirements, producing and testing models, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine system requirements using modelling and simulation
• Create system design models compatible with software generation
• Validate designs and assess performance
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and operators
What We’re Looking For:
• Expertise in MATLAB & Simulink
• Strong background in requirements development and systems engineering
• Experience with model-based design
Desirable:
• Background in submarines, aerospace, or automotive sectors
• Knowledge of vehicle control
