Primary Responsibility:
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of MS SQL Server Administration experience required on SQL 2012 or higher
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
• Experience creating and managing columnstore indexes
• Experience with AlwaysOn Setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Knowledge of Power shell
• Knowledge of integration services native and catalog configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of SQL server Filestream configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of Security setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of Master Data Services setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of SSIS configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of Query Tuning
• Knowledge of Indexes configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of Performance analysis during war rooms
• Knowledge of DBA Code reviews
• Knowledge of Powershell
• Knowledge of SQL 2014 In-Memory setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of SQL Azure
• Knowledge of Resource Pool setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of TempDB setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of SQL 2016 Query store setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of Real-time Operational Analytics
• Knowledge of SQL 2016 JSON
• Knowledge of Polybase, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of SQL 2017 on Linux setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of Resumable Index build setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Knowledge of SQL server Machine learning services integrated the R programming language setup, configuration, concepts, techniques and tools
• Familiar with Agile concepts and workflow
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
