About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer...
In this role, you will:
• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Required Qualifications, US:
• 8+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Experience in Systems Engineering, and Technology Architecture, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Responsibilities
• Provides 16x7 Platform Maintenance support to various applications in Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) with expertise in Unix/Linux, Oracle/SQL, Java/J2EE based application support on Middleware and Oracle and automation knowledge in Ansible, shell or Python scripting.
• Tasks includes but not limited to Maintenance of Vulnerabilities, pre/post patching activities and SSL certificate management
• An overview of responsibilities include: Vulnerability management, Platform support and troubleshooting.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of technical environments: management and production release coordination
• Knowledge and understanding of Ansible or Shell scripting or Powershell or Python
• Required Qualifications
Primary Skill: Unix, Windows, Middleware products like Tomcat, Apache, JBoss, Weblogic etc, Server hygiene, SSL Certificate Renewals, Ansible or Shell scripting or Powershell or Python
Secondary Skill: Grafana, Splunk, Tableau and Agile
Desired Qualifications
• BE degree or higher in science or technology
• 5+ years of experience in Production/Application support teams
• 3+ years of experience in working in Unix and Windows platforms
• 3+ years of any middleware Weblogic/Tomcat/WebSphere/Jboss etc
• 2+ years of scripting/automation experience
• Experience in monitoring and logging tools like AppDyanmics and Splunk
• Experience in Grafana, Tableau and Agile will be added advantage.
