You'll be part of a team on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers. This opportunity will be responsible for:
Providing technical expertise and ownership across a complex environment supporting the ASB business.
Providing technical leadership for all operational aspects of this environment.
Analysing and optimising the environment for reliability and scalability while delivering cost effective performance.
Demonstrating an outstanding customer service skills and lead by example.
About you:
We'll value your proven initiative, problem solving abilities and leadership skills (as we look for every engineer to lead from their position).
We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of technical skills, including:
Windows server setup/management/configuration/troubleshooting
Experience working with PowerShell
SSL certificate management
Experience in setting up Elastics data feeds, raising alerts and visualizing data via Kibana
Experience in working with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure Pipelines or TFS
Microservices - setup/management/configuration/architecture
In addition, the following skills would be an advantage:
Experience working with COM+
An understanding of software engineering principles and processes
Proficient as a C# .NET Developer using .NET/.NET Core
Experience in working with database concepts using MSSQL Server or similar SQL server platforms like Postgres and MySQL
API Integration (SOAP/REST)
Experience/Knowledge using message bus/queue technologies like RabbitMQ
Docker and container knowledge/experience
Experience working in Agile environment (Kanban/Scrum)
