Role Description:
Role Responsibility:
Convert business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents into corresponding code
Craft and document code that is both efficient and testable through unit tests.
Optimize, test, and resolve issues within Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
Define, design, implement, and manage BI tool schemas.
Develop reports and dashboards by translating analytical requirements into BI visualizations.
Collaborate with clients to modify data models or databases as needed
Enhance module automation as applicable
Coordinate activities with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team
Demonstrate proficiency in written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
Maintain communication with all stakeholders throughout the project.
Role Requirement:
Skilled in both fundamental and sophisticated SQL programming techniques, including stored procedures and analytical functions.
Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, such as dimensional modelling, change data capture, and management of slowly changing dimensions
Proficient with various data storage systems, including relational and non- relational databases, data streams, and file storage solutions
Adept at optimizing system performance and executing tuning strategies
Experienced in analysing data quality and conducting thorough data validation
Capable of eliciting requirements, documenting processes, and executing comprehensive unit tests
Competent in applying quality assurance practices and diverse testing methodologies within projects
Familiarity with Python programming is considered a beneficial asset.
Working experience on building Tableau reports
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of Tableau data source refreshes and address any issues. Optimize Tableau connections to improve refresh efficiency and performance.
• Design and develop interactive and insightful dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau. Enhance and maintain existing dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
• Consolidate redundant dashboards to improve usability and reduce maintenance overhead.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Tableau development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data preparation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
