Job description
Seeking a Tax Senior to join our dynamic client, a CPA firm in North Orange County. The Tax Senior will provide top-tier Tax and Accounting services while building strong relationships with their clients. This company offers a hybrid work schedule, little to no overtime, and growth to management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of smaller partnership, LLC, and S-corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Supervise and prepare multi-state entity tax returns, providing guidance and support to junior staff.
• Prepare individual tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, including multi-state individual tax returns, ensuring all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage the preparation of trust tax returns, including grantor trusts and split-interest trusts, leveraging your expertise to optimize tax outcomes for our clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional service.
• Stay current on tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm's practices remain compliant and up to date.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, providing training and support to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
Requirements:
• CPA license is required.
• 4+ years of experience working in an accounting firm.
• Strong technical tax skills and a thorough understanding of current tax laws and regulations.
• Experience overseeing the preparation of partnership, LLC, S-corporation, and multi-state entity tax returns.
• Experience preparing individual tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and multi-state individual tax returns.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in a client-facing role.
