Position Overview:

As a Team Lead - Android Developer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of Android developers. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire Android app development lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Android development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Android developers.

· Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

· Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Project Planning and Execution:

· Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.

· Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

· Ensure timely delivery of high-quality Android applications.

Technical Expertise:

· Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Android development.

· Provide hands-on technical expertise in Android application development.

· Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, QA, and product management.

· Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

· Identify and address technical challenges in Android development.

· Implement effective solutions to ensure smooth project execution.

Quality Assurance:

· Implement and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and debugging.

· Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure high quality and performance.

Documentation:

· Create and maintain documentation for code, architecture, and development processes.

· Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

· Proven experience (4+ years) in Android application development.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent knowledge of Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, and related technologies.

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
