In this role, you will provide senior technical and safety assurance advice for the NZDF's LAV Turret fleet, supporting effective through-life management. You will lead technical decision-making across fleet management, maintenance, configuration changes and the introduction of new capability into service.
Analyse fleet data and provide technical reports.
Develop fleet policies, processes, and procedures.
Build effective stakeholder and vendor relationships.
Oversee maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.

We are looking for a technical specialist with strong fleet and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) expertise, backed by solid electronics trade experience. Military electronics experience and familiarity with LAV and turret systems are highly desirable.
Ability to analyse and present technical data.
Experience in maintenance and quality management.
Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
RNZALR Electronics Technician Trade Band 6 or equivalent.

You must be a New Zealand citizen or you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa.
At minimum, you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa, and you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last ten (10) years.
You must have a ten (10) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.
