The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site gas or chemical equipment
They will ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution
A subject matter expert for gas, chemical, and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution
The individuals will be a part of the onsite Project and equipment team and will support the gas and chemical operations in 11 buildings throughout Santa Clara and Sunnyvale
The Technician will support and lead the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors
You will ensure compliance when writing, editing, and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture
A subject matter expert for gas, chemical, or slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution
The individual will also be involved in project and sustaining operations, Basic Safety Processes, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training
They will support the installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of all Client Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas, and Chemical systems
The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment
Technicians work on systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LEDs, and Flat Screen TV's
Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:
Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers
Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance
Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
Support of quality systems
Occasionally climbing ladders (utilizing fall protection)
