What you’ll do:
Act as a functional leader for the team based in India; mentor and coach junior team members, assisting them in improving their coding skills, code quality, and understanding of DevOps practices.
Conduct thorough and comprehensive code reviews for software projects to ensure high-quality code, adherence to coding standards, and implementation of best practices.
Provide actionable feedback, recommendations, and suggestions for code improvements, maintainability, and performance optimization.
Collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements, design considerations, and coding challenges, and provide expert technical guidance.
Help guide our dev ops strategy to build the end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Continuously evaluate and enhance existing CI/CD processes, tools, and methodologies to improve software quality, delivery speed, and team productivity.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to code review, DevOps, and software development, and share knowledge with the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as architects, developers, and operations, to drive technical initiatives, resolve technical roadblocks, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
What you need to bring:
Qualifications:
Extensive professional experience as a software developer, with a focus on code review and software quality assurance.
Proficient in multiple programming languages mainly Microsoft Technology Stack with .Net/C#, SQL etc., along with expertise in Azure platform, and deep knowledge of coding best practices
Strong expertise in conducting code reviews, identifying code smells, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities, and providing constructive feedback.
Hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Travis CI.
In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members, facilitate collaboration, and drive technical initiatives.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
