Looking for a tableau developer to work with the business customers. The responsibilities of a tableau developer include creating technical solutions, creating data storage tools, and conducting tests. To be successful as a tableau developer, Candidate should have a broad understanding of the business technology landscape, the ability to design reports, and strong analytical skills. Ultimately, a top-notch tableau developer should have an aptitude for using computers, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency in reporting analysis tools.
Requirements: -
• Overall, 10+ years of IT experience in to ETL and/or Data Integration domain.
• 3 years of rich experience in Matillion ETL tool.
• 3+years with other ETL Data integration tools will be preferred.
• Must have experience working with Matillion ELT/ETL.
• Design and Develop/Review ETL programs primarily using Matillion and Python.
• Coach and guide the technical team in terms development of ETL jobs.
• Performance improvement tuning of Matillion mappings.
• Technical reviews, Data validation end to end testing of ETL Objects, Source data analysis and data profiling.
• Experience with Matillion configuration/Administration and Security setup.
• Proficient with Matillion ETL Orchestration jobs.
• Proficient with Matillion ETL Transformation jobs.
• Experience working with RDBMS, Oracle, Snowflake using Python.
• Sound knowledge on Datawarehouse concepts Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Surrogate Keys.
• Should be a quick learner.
• Deep understanding of data mapping, data validation, data manipulation, data analysis use cases
• Provide observations of the system and suggest automated steps to full-fill the business operations and the requirements.
• Proficient in SQL coding.
• Triage the Production issues and work on the code fixes.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be client-facing.
• Must be independent and a self-starter.
• Knowledge on Snowflake Database if preferred.
• Knowledge on Python / PySPark is preferred.
• Knowledge on cloud computing (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
• Knowledge on other reporting tools like PowerBI is an advantage
