About The Role
As Senior Technical Writer, you’ll work with the engineering leadership at Meesho to help create the voice of engineering at Meesho. You’ll support our co-founder and CTO (Sanjeev) across his social media presence (including any blogs) and other speaker engagements at events and conferences to help him establish his personal brand as a tech evangelist. In addition, you’ll also support other engineering leaders through their speaker engagements and write blogs for them, as needed. Finally, you’ll also collaborate on blogs written by other engineers, helping them convert technical information into read-worthy blogs.
In this role you’ll act as a bridge between the content team and the engineering team, ensuring nothing important gets lost in translation. For senior folks with relevant experience, this role can be a stepping stone toward leading the code documentation team and establishing team policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
• Support Meesho's employer branding initiative in the tech ecosystem
• Research and read about interesting technological developments for social and print media engagements
• Ideate/brainstorm with leaders and identify potential talking points or blog areas
• Prepare content for speaker engagements or delivery of tech topics outside Meesho
• Curate social media messages related to engineering and Data Science for key tech leaders
• Fine-tune and prepare content to appeal to non-technical end-users, programmers, system administrators, designers, etc.
• Collaborate with external agencies to maintain a high standard of content for Meesho's social media platforms, blog, website, etc.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
• 4 to 6 years of overall professional technical writing experience
• Strong experience in owning an end-to-end documentation process
• Proven experience in tackling and resolving challenges
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
