We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Content Writer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing and a deep understanding of the IT industry, with a focus on SEO and content management tools.
Preferred:
⭐ IoT and emerging technology industry experience are strongly preferred ⭐
⭐ Minimum - 3+ Years of Experience in Technical Writing ⭐
Responsibilities:
• Research and understand complex technical concepts and information
• Write clear, concise, and accurate technical content for a variety of audiences and platforms (Web pages, Blogs, Press releases, Infographics, or other branding material)
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content
• Edit and proofread technical content to ensure it meets industry standards and is free of errors
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide accurate and relevant information
• Optimize technical content for search engines and improve the visibility of online content
• Implement SEO best practices in technical content
• Use content calendar tools to plan, organize, and manage technical content projects
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology
• Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools, such as Basecamp, Notion, and Google Docs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new technologies and subject matter areas
• Familiarity with SEO tools and techniques, such as keyword research and analysis
