As a Senior Technical Writer, you are expected to:
• Preferred to have prior experience in Software Product company as a Technical Writer
• Manage and deliver one or more projects as needed.
• Develop an understanding of the business, domain and technology of the project(s) you may be assigned to.
• Meet the project deadlines and meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Handle routine tasks of your assigned projects independently. These will include planning, estimating, researching, interacting with stakeholders, writing, reviewing and publishing.
• Recommend or follow the prescribed style guides. Take an active part in identifying gaps and improving the house style guides.
• Adhere to writing standards and develop minimalistic content
• Quickly start demonstrating expertise in the authoring tools being used in the project.
• Be flexible and adapt to changing client needs to handle aggressive schedules.
• Be ready to learn, multi-task, take direction from TechTalks’ or Client’s Management and show continuous improvement based on constructive feedback and comments.
• Perform peer and editorial reviews. Take an active part in suggesting and preparing various checklists for editorial reviews.
• Mentor junior writers to help them become more efficient and productive
• Deliver and manage multiple types of content including technical content, manuals, Wiki, release notes, user content, training content, knowledge base articles, videos, storyboards, and so on.
