Must-Have Skills: DITA-XML, Adobe RoboHelp, Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, Confluence, Madcap Flare, API documentation, SDLC
Job Description:
• Ability to interview product developers to obtain a deep understanding of product features and functionalities
• Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and images
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience
• Create and maintain the information architecture
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Handle Rest API documentation
• Possess Knowledge of documentation tools like Framemaker, Oxygen, and Captivate
• Understand DITA, topic-based and structured authoring
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and user guides
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Good to have:
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in technical writing or a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, English, Journalism, or Business.)
• Experience writing technical documentation.
• Use of oxygen or similar single source XML authoring tool.
• Experience with DITA structured content is preferred.
• Experience with online help content is preferred.
• Possess a superior command of written English.
