Job Title: Senior Technology Analyst
Location: Bangalore, India
Role Description:
We are a team of 7 based in Frankfurt, London and Bangalore covering full trading application support for the DWS security lending business. We as part of the Technology Trade and Product department act as a natural interface between our business users who are DWS Security Lending traders and other internal/external technical teams. We cover all technical communication between DWS and the external providers regarding third-party applications. As owners of IT applications, we are customer-centric and contribute significantly to DWS' overall goals of increasing assets.
Your tasks:
The Technology Trading and Product Developer acts as a hands-on technician, performing various tasks related to the required services within the service management environment.
The Technology Trading and Product Developer role supports the respective functional teams and provides expertise and support to ensure effective services are delivered through service management.
The main tasks of the Technology Trading and Product Developer are:
Design, development and maintenance of C++ and Java-based applications, as well as monitoring, tracking and analysis of issues (including assisting in resolving issues and conflicts).

be flexible and able to work in a small team where roles/responsibilities are often combined/shared i.e. a developer must sometimes also be a business analyst and tester
be able to manage time effectively and be able to work on more than 1 topic, for more than 1 business team at the same time.
be able to work independently (and in geographical locations separate from rest of team)
be able to undertake development in collaboration with offshore developers
be able to quickly identify source of an issue and provide both short term and long term fixes within tight deadlines
be able to turn high level requirement/specification into high quality solution
have ability to debug/reverse engineer an existing process without documentation and/or source code
Your skills and experience:
Technical Skills
Essential:
Object Oriented design and development
Excellent Native C++ (ideally with experience of Rogue Wave SourcePro component library) in Windows environment
Excellent Oracle SQL query and design
Excellent Java skills
Knowledge of continuous integration tools Jenkins/TeamCity
Excellent knowledge of recent C++ standard library
Nice to have skills
Experience business knowledge of Securities Lending (stock loan, repo, bilateral + triparty collateralisation, fixed income etc)
Special experience with SecLending applications such as Apex Securities Finance and Apex Collateral
Jasper Reports
C# and ASP.Net
Powershell scripting
Managed C++ i.e. .Net CLI
Experience developing java microservices
Having source control skills with git
