Develops software programs in order to test code and applications. Involved in requirements analysis, test planning activities, test case automation and execution of critical test cases/scripts required to ensure that the software meets business requirements. Functional Testing levels may include application integration, system, system/network integration and acceptance testing; may also include non-functional testing such as performance, volume, load and fallback. Mentors and guides the team to perform functional, non-functional testing and other testing activities Software process professionals are involved in driving the corporate CMM process improvement program and in assessing and reporting on the software development processes adopted by projects through audits, reviews and inspections. As part of the Bengaluru Risk Intelligence Engineering team you'll be delivering these solutions, helping our customers protect their brand and make smarter decisions. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Quality Engineering Senior Engineer to join our growing team as we strive to deliver excellence to our customers. You're a self-starter who will be part of an empowered management team working on our portfolio of Risk Intelligence Engineering products. Whilst your background will be in development of automated tests, your curiosity, desire to learn and enthusiasm for technology means you can do what it takes to get the job done. Role Summary: You'll be part of a team which has adopted a truly Agile approach to deliver enhancements which drive the growth of the product. We are strengthening our automated test capabilities, and you will be instrumental in driving QA initiatives which ensure we delight our customers with all that we deliver. People are key to achieving this, so working with your team on their professional development will be an important part of your role. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Contribute to the definition and implementation of a QA strategy that aligns with our Agile principles and processes Ensure coherent, pragmatic use of toolsets across our products – reusing where appropriate Work with the local management team to drive a ‘quality first’ environment, not limited to Quality Engineering practitioners Demonstrate Iterative improvement in the quality of our software and be accountable for the overall quality of releases Apply and contribute to evolving a robust Agile implementation within the teams Contribute to a wider QA CoP, ensuring your team is empowered to do the same Develop and improve Quality Engineering standards, practices and metrics. Ensure engineers are empowered to augment and refine these, whilst maintaining necessary governance Key Relationships: QA and Development Management Scrum Team members Nexus Integration teams Product Management and other key stakeholders Essential Skills/Experience: Experienced Programmer and/or Automation Tester, with good technical skills C#, .NET, Selenium and Python skills Experience of using Selenium or other functional test automation tools Self-starter - does what it takes to get the job done Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment Experienced, able and keen to work using Agile development methodologies Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Experience of test tracking tools Proficient using source code management tools such as Git or SVN Familiarity with and/or accreditation in AWS or similar Cloud technology 6years of minimum relevant experience Desired Skills/Experience: Strong CI/CD build and automation pipeline knowledge Experience with containerization and related technologies Experience leading both local and remote staff Education/ Certifications: A good relevant Engineering degree is desirable, but experience and the right approach to work are just as important.
