Job Title: Senior Textile Designer - Fashion Innovator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Textile Designer to join our team at Shoppers Stop. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and trend-driven textile designs that meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
• Trend research and analysis to stay ahead of the fashion curve
• Creative direction and design concept development for seasonal collections
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and quality
• Color palette development and selection to enhance brand identity
• Design and development of new prints, patterns, and textures
• Experimentation with color, fabric, and texture to drive innovation
• Work within budget constraints while meeting deadlines
• Staying up-to-date with current trends, production techniques, and market demands
Requirements:
• Degree in Design or related field (Apparel Merchandising, Graphic Designing, NIFT)
• 8-10 years of experience in textile design, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong understanding of color theory, fabric properties, and print technology
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Salary Range: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Mumbai, India
