Role:- Senior UI Developer
Work you’ll do
The Deloitte Managed Services & Products practice launched a new service in the forensics space to detect fraud, waste, and abuse in various industries. The Anti-Fraud Waste and Abuse solution ("AFES") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of the Deloitte forensic processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology and machine learned in a dedicated environment. We have an urgent need for a Senior UI Developer to join the Deloitte Analytic & Forensic Technology practice. The ideal candidate for this position is a dedicated UI developer professional with advanced programming skills who can develop UI using Angular 7 or above versions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Developing new user-facing features using Angular 7 and above versions
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
Must demonstrate end-to-end ownership from business need through to technical go-live
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance.
Produce clean, efficient code that works and do it quickly.
Maintain code quality and write e2e automated tests.
Learning & Adapting to New Trends in Angular and web development Community.
Being Aware of the Latest Technological Advancements in Angular.
Strong level of oral and written English.
Qualifications Required:
6-+ years of experience in web development.
2+ years of experience working as a technical leader for junior developers
3+ years of experience in Angular 2+ version and should have hands on experience in Angular 7 and above versions.
Experience in scss, sass and css and good experience in designing the page using CSS grid layout.
Experience in Angular material library.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance.
Familiar with Agile SCRUM development methodology.
Follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests. Experience in Jasmine unit test framework.
Good understanding of overall web security and awareness of common front-end vulnerabilities to mitigate risks.
You need to have extensive experience working with and rendering pixel-perfect applications in all modern web browsers.
You need to have extensive experience with browser storage concepts such as Local Storage, Session Storage, IndexedDB, Cookies, and Cache.
Desired:
Experience with API mocking framework.
Experience in API testing in tools like Postman
Experience with relational databases, PostgresSQL is a plus
Experience working with peers and managers who are geographically dispersed
Experience reviewing developer pull requests for Angular/JavaScript
