Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Urban Planner located in Ahmedabad. The Senior Urban Planner will lead the planning and design of urban and regional development projects, including land use, environmental, and infrastructure strategies. Responsibilities include conducting research and analysis, preparing development plans, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design sustainable and functional urban systems. The role involves providing expert insights for efficient project execution and client consultation.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Urban Planning and Regional Planning to develop and analyze innovative solutions for city and regional development challenges.
• Skill in Environmental Planning and Land Use Planning to ensure sustainable, compliant, and efficient use of resources in development projects.
• Proficiency in Planning techniques, tools, and methodologies applicable to urban development initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
• Proven experience in working on complex infrastructure or urban planning projects; prior experience in a leadership role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using GIS software and other urban planning tools is highly desirable.
• Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, or a related field.
