Senior US Accounting Specialist

US Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled US Accountant with 2+ years of experience in the Logistics OR Warehousing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and have hands-on experience in managing and reviewing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Day-to-Day Accounting Activities: Utilize QuickBooks Online to oversee and execute daily accounting tasks.

• Review and Process Transactions: Accurately review and process AP and AR transactions, ensuring timely and precise completion.

• Perform GL Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of the General Ledger to ensure account reconciliation and accuracy.

• Generate Financial Reports: Assist in generating financial reports and supporting month-end closing activities.

• Ensure Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A degree in accounting or a related field is essential for this role.

• Accounting Experience: Candidates should possess 4-6 years of accounting experience in the logistics or warehousing sector.

• QuickBooks Expertise: Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.

• AP, AR, and GL Review Experience: Proven experience in reviewing and processing AP, AR, and GL transactions is crucial.

• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent organizational abilities are necessary for success in this role.
